Four Principles in Launching a Successful Online MLM Business

#First
When getting involved in an online MLM Selling Business, the home-based internet entrepreneur should look for a MLM company which offers products or services he has a passion for marketing. If green living is the passion of the new MLM entrepreneur, maybe a company offering synthetic oils, all-natural home cleaners or organic skin care products will be a good fit.

#Second
In order to find a MLM company built on a solid business model, a good principle to follow is to look at those who are members of the Direct Selling Association and have a three- to five-year track record. Be aware that it seems an unlimited amount of MLM companies are launching on a daily basis; signing and marketing with a new company can also come with huge headaches--many companies fail.

#Third
When doing the due diligence on a new MLM company, it is best for the new MLM distributor to go visit the headquarters of the company itself. Take some time to meet the owners and management team. Tour the manufacturing facility, check out the shipping department, and meet some of the call center or support staff. Some internet-based MLM companies are being launched as virtual companies, outsourcing most, if not all, of their departments. This is still a small percentage.

#Fourth
One last principle is to review the company financials. Although most MLM companies are privately held, if they are a member of the DSA, they do make available some of their financials for review. Company representatives have a right to know how many distributors are active, how many customers the company has who are not part of the compensation plan, and what is the average paid commissions to the distributors at each rank in the compensation plan. The company may decide to give some of these figures in percentages, which is acceptable.
